Here are some mini cushions I made when staying with my mum for xmas last year. My mum taught me to embroider when I was a child and when I go home I always love having something to do with my hands. This morning I received from 'Josje-Bouwt.blogspot' a most wonderful miniature pillow in single thread Tapestry representing a Butterfly and flowers. Josje was asked to take care of the collection of her friend Elly in Amsterdam when she sadly left this world earlier this year. Josje put up pictures on her blog so anyone could buy something. This tiny pillow hand sewn by Elly is truly a wonderful treasure and now I wish to make a chair to put it on!
